??? ADEO Update ??? Still Leading NASA’s Technology Report! ??? One year ago, HPS’s ADEO deorbit module reached the top spot in NASA’s list of key technology achievements. Why? Because it already met all crucial success factors: TRL9 readiness, scalability, and proven flight heritage. ?? Now, one year later, ADEO remains unmatched! Now expanded with ADEO-Cube and ADEO-Pico in the technology report, it continues to outperform both Dragsail competitors and other passive deorbit technologies. ??? HPS CEO Ernst K. Pfeiffer: “With ADEO, we are riding the wave we created ourselves—thanks to years of R&D, significant ESA & DLR co-financing, and our own company efforts.” ?? Sustainable spaceflight needs reliable deorbit solutions. ADEO is here to deliver! #SpaceTech #Deorbit #ADEO #Sustainability #HPS #NASA

?? Workshop Day ?? Innovation in Action: HPS at the #SAILOR Workshop in Budapest, working on technologies for growing space traffic and space debris! Last week, the HPS Team participated in an inspiring two-day workshop in Budapest as part of the ESA-funded SAILOR project. Hosted by C3S, the event brought together brilliant minds from C3S Electronics Development LLC, HPS, and the University of Kent to collaborate on groundbreaking technologies. ??? Workshop Highlights: ? Knowledge exchange and progress sharing ? Alignment of efforts to advance effectively contribute to ESA’s Space Safety Programme ? Inspiring teamwork and dedication. The SAILOR project is truly paving the way for cutting-edge advancements in debris detection! ?? ??? About the SAILOR Project: SAILOR is a Phase A/B1 study for a technology demonstration mission focused on deployable surface-based debris monitoring. The mission will feature a small satellite with deployed sails membranes developed by HPS to measure and analyze sub-mm-to-cm-sized particles space debris in LEO – a vital step in understanding and mitigating space debris risks. A huge thank you to C3S for hosting this amazing event and to all participants for their incredible contributions. Let’s keep pushing the boundaries of innovation! ?? #HPS #SAILORProject #SpaceSafety #Innovation #SpaceDebris #ESA #Collaboration #BudapestWorkshop #SpaceTraffic

?? Breaking New Ground in RF Applications with 3D Printing! ?? At HPS at the end of the year, we’ve reached an exciting milestone in antenna technology: the successful verification of 3D-printed antenna components as part of the 3DPAN2 project, funded by ESA's GSTP program. ?? ?? What’s New? We’ve developed an extremly lightweight X-band antenna (~30 cm diameter) for Earth observation satellites, pushing the boundaries of 3D printing technology in space applications. The antenna, inclucing feed, manufactured from SCALMALLOY? aluminum (by APWORKS GmbH) and a feed bracket by titanium (Fraunhofer IWS), these components showcase incredible efficiency and reliability: ?? 20-25% lighter than conventional designs ?? Successfully passed RF performance tests, vibration resistance, and thermal vacuum (TVAC) tests without any issues ??? Why It Matters: Additive manufacturing minimizes raw material usage, enables highly detailed designs, and delivers components with outstanding performance—all while reducing mass, which is critical for space missions. ?? Collaboration at Its Best This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our partners: APWORKS Additive Manufacturing for antenna components manufacturing Fraunhofer IWS for titanium feed support brackets Munich University of Applied Sciences for antenna RF tests A special thanks to European Space Agency - ESA and our Technical Officer, Ms. Isabel Olaya Leon, for their commitment to advancing space technology. ?? A Vision Realized HPS CEO Ernst K. Pfeiffer celebrates: “It’s fantastic that we’re already implementing 3D-printed components from ESA GSTP projects in current flight missions. What we envisioned 8 years ago has now become a reality—a n important step for our future space market.” #3DPrinting #SpaceTech #HPS #Innovation #ESA
