Laura J. McGill will become Sandia National Laboratories’ 17th Laboratories Director, effective May 1, 2025. McGill, who has served as Deputy Laboratories Director for Nuclear Deterrence and Chief Technology Officer since January 2021, succeeds James S. Axelera AI has unveiled Titania, a high-performance, energy efficient and scalable AI inference chiplet. In support, Axelera AI is receiving up to €61.6 million in funding from the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) and member states as part of the Digital Autonomy with RISC-V for Europe (DARE) Project.
