This premier state of the art, 9-building 4.3M SF industrial logistics project will offer buildings for lease, or sale ranging in size from 200,000 SF – 930,000 SF. We have been fortunate to experience the visionary efforts put forward by the entire design team. The ingenuity demonstrated by the McDonald Property Group, Affinius Capital, HPA Architecture - Irvine CA, Miyamoto International, Forsgren Associates, Inc. and Guy Yocom Construction is truly setting the bar for the future of sustainable construction. Achieving estimated reductions in embodied carbon equivalent to over 100,000,000 driven miles while still being extremely conscious of price and quality is something to be celebrated and emulated. Over the past week, we've been on-site for the first TIPS panel insert construction and concrete pours. The advanced planning and inventive spirit of Guy Yocom Construction and PREMIER Design + Build Group have been remarkable. The July 2024 update to Cal Green is the first of its kind in the U.S. to mandate regulations on embodied carbon emissions. All new commercial projects, including new buildings and alterations, submitted for permit after July 1, 2024, that are 100,000 square feet or greater, will have to meet the life cycle assessment requirements.?Read on for HPA's overview and recommendations for compliance for industrial buildings.
