The image of the T-1000 melting to pure liquid and then walking out of the fire has been in my mind a lot lately. The entertainment industry is melting down and reforming itself into a new shape. AI is reshaping creative roles and workflows, studios are slashing costs (and staff), chasing tax incentives across the globe while the YouTube/creator economy is ascending. Career paths that once felt stable might now look like heat shimmer, leaving many professionals wondering: What’s next? How do we reshape ourselves as we emerge from the fire? Join me for a candid conversation next Thursday at Hollywood Professional Association's NET Event about adapting in this time of disruption, leveraging your core skills, and forging a career that remains engaging, fluid, and resilient. "The future is not set. There is no fate but what we make ourselves."?–?Terminator 2: Judgment Day

Last month, I had the amazing opportunity to speak at the HPA Tech Retreat on the ‘Art of Filmmaking: Mastering Affordable Film Production’ panel! ??? Alongside powerhouse industry leaders Lina Sánchez-Salamanca,Tahirah F., Starry Ye, and Brian Tran, we explored how constraints fuel creativity, balancing tradition with new tech, and the power of collaboration. One key takeaway? Limitations don’t stifle creativity—they ignite it. Some of the most compelling storytelling happens when filmmakers are pushed to think outside the box. As I shared during the panel: "Everything we create has the potential to shape the next zeitgeist." As the next generation of creatives and future execs, we have a responsibility to approach everything we do with intention—even the seemingly mundane tasks. Huge thanks to the Hollywood Professional Association for this platform and to everyone who joined the conversation. Let’s keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in media, entertainment, and beyond! ?? And congratulations to the new HPA Young Entertainment Professionals class! #HPA #HPATechRetreat #Filmmaking #Creativity #Storytelling #HPAYEP
