The HOWL for Wildlife action center is one of the most powerful and effective tools for communicating hunters' values, your values, to decision makers. Conservation is not preservation; opportunity rarely comes back when it has been taken away... so today is a good day to express your support for successful conservation tools and scientifically informed wildlife mgmt.

Alice Jones Webb shared an excellent discussion about black bear, sustainable hunting & harvesting of bear, and the significant misrepresentations or outright lies that frequently come from the anti-hunting industry. A couple more truths: (1) bear hunters are often the MOST committed and invested advocates for bears and other species’ success (2) we love bears! Great reverence for these critters, and a passion for the hunt and harvest can & does coexist. Legal, regulated and scientifically informed Bear hunting is economically and ecologically sustainable.
