We’re creating a new global force in employee benefits by acquiring Barnett Waddingham, a leading independent UK professional services consultancy. The acquisition brings high quality pension and related advice capability to our business, providing a platform for expansion into global markets. It will double our global Employee Benefits business in terms of employees, with approximately 4,000 experts delivering combined revenues of almost ￡500 million. The combined business?will offer the full range of employee benefits and pensions advisory services to?corporate?clients – spanning multinational?corporations, SMEs, private and public sector alike. As a result of the acquisition, we will become one of the largest independent pensions and employee benefits consultancies in the UK. Our UK footprint will expand to in excess of 10,000 people across more than 200 locations, serving more than two million?individuals?in addition to?the services we provide to?commercial and corporate clients. Did you see the news about our financial results? The key highlight: we broke the ￡3bn revenue mark, with an impressive 23% increase to ￡3.01bn in 2024, up from ￡2.44bn in 2023. Organic revenue growth was strong at 15%. As a people-first business, we continue to attract talent around the world. We’ve grown to 20,000 employees across 55 countries, and we’re thrilled that 650 employees chose to become shareholders for the very first time. Our 30th year was a real record-breaker! In 2024 we broke the ￡3bn revenue barrier with 15% organic growth. And we delivered double-digit organic growth for the fourth consecutive year. This incredible track record is down to our amazing talent, continued client wins, acquisitions and innovation. New talent contributed 30% to organic revenue growth. Across our divisions, insurance broking grew 14%, reinsurance (Howden Re) 30%, and our Managing General Agent (DUAL Group) 6%. We completed 65 strategic acquisitions, including VLC & Partners in the Netherlands, North Risk in Denmark and AGEO Assurances in France.
