The modular design's clever use of color, light, and well-proportioned courtyards has created a strong sense of community while maintaining privacy and fostering interaction. We're thrilled to announce the groundbreaking of Berkeley Station, our latest project aimed at revolutionizing affordable housing in Santa Monica! Located at 1342 Berkeley Street in Santa Monica, this four-story building will offer 13 one-bedroom apartments, including five for transition-aged youth (18-24). These apartments will be offered at 50% of the area median income and eight for families at 30% of the area median income. Designed by Brooks Scarpa, the 11,000-square-foot structure will feature prefabricated modular units and cement panel cladding. Residents will enjoy outdoor spaces and a community garden, all made possible with the City of Santa Monica's support of approximately $10 million in funding.
