#ICYMI The Houston Area Women’s Center (HAWC) recently celebrated the grand opening of One Safe Place. This impressive 5.5-acre flagship campus is a beacon of hope and healing for survivors of domestic violence. The City of Houston proudly contributed $15.8 million in HOME ARPA funds, enabling One Safe Place to provide 135 units of supportive housing along with a host of vital services. The campus includes a Survivor Empowerment Hub, Behavioral Health and Wellbeing Center, legal support, and a Children & Youth Learning and Enrichment Center, ensuring comprehensive care and support for all. We are immensely proud to support this landmark initiative, helping to foster a safer, brighter future for all in Houston. #HCDProud #BuildingCommunity #EndDomesticViolence #SupportingSurvivors
