We were thrilled to have two such illustrious winners of our competition to guess how many Houston-area restaurants would be recognized in the new international tire company’s inaugural Texas guide. Chef Willet Feng from Burger Chan and Eric Sandler from CultureMap took home the top prizes courtesy of the Houston Hospitality Alliance. Eric is headed to March with a $500 gift card, and Willet will be dining well with $500 gift cards each to March, Belly of the Beast, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, and Musaafer. Hospitality on Parade: A Celebration of Excellence in 2024 Last night, we gathered for one of the most anticipated events of the year for the Hotel and Lodging community in Houston—Hospitality on Parade. As Chair of the Hotel and Lodging Association of Greater Houston, I had the honor of delivering opening remarks and reflecting on the incredible people who make our industry shine. First and foremost, I want to recognize Stephanie Haynes and Mary Lou Elizondo two extraordinary leaders whose passion and dedication inspire us all. Your work is monumental, and we are so grateful for your contributions. I also had the privilege of acknowledging the Board of Directors, whose vision and leadership fuel the progress of our industry. Thank you for your commitment to excellence and your passion for making Houston the vibrant, welcoming city we are all so proud to represent. A special note of gratitude goes to John Schafer General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Houston Downtown and the winner of the GM of the Year Award for HOP 2024!
