Houston’s inaugural Energy and Climate Startup Week brought together global industry leaders, investors and startups to showcase energy innovations. As a driving force in the ecosystem, Scott Gale’s passion strengthened and united our community, benefiting the people, startups and companies working toward a greater good. Scott played a pivotal role in many important ecosystem events, including Houston’s presence at CERAWeek, and most recently the successful launch of Houston’s inaugural Energy + Climate Startup Week, inspiring the team with his words, “Don’t blink, stay the course – we’re on a collision course for greatness.” This event, which he championed from the start, would not have launched without his immense passion, optimism and unwavering kindness. The ethos of Houston Energy and Climate Startup was shaped by his relentless drive and his unique ability to bring people together.
