Below is a perfect example of the impact of the Relentless Health Value podcast hosted by Stacey Richter. Come hear Stacey' perspective and meet her at the HCBH Winter Forum on December 4 at Rice University, https://lnkd.in/gc-hEe7U
“[I am] the CEO of a large senior living company who has always geeked out on Medicare payment innovation but was … bored and disengaged from our own health insurance spend on a self-funded plan. It wasn’t until I listened to several episodes of Relentless Health Value that were focused towards C-suite audiences that I began to understand that population health and the triple aim should be viewed in all aspects of insurance and health coverage. I have since consumed the show frequently, while driving my health insurance brokers crazy with questions and accountability. The show has not only given me the knowledge that has created confidence in guiding our strategy but has given me the actual tools to be able to make impactful change. I have reached out to several experts interviewed to utilize their services and ideas and have been able to use the CAA [Consolidated Appropriations Act] details to get transparency from my vendors. Thank you … for giving me what I need to provide the best possible care at [reasonable prices] for my coworkers and get beyond the insurance ‘noise’ and smoke screens to understand the opportunities at hand.” This review puts perfectly into words the incredible work that Relentless Health Value Podcast & Stacey Richter are doing when it comes to the C-suite and #healthcare. You can get a taste of what they're all about by listening to the episode linked below. We're excited to have Stacey as our keynote speaker at the HBCH Winter Forum in December. Last week, we released the results of our annual Pulse of the Purchaser survey in conjunction with our member coalitions with 188 employers participating! The study covers a lot including concerns and approaches of employers to address the workforce environment, women’s health, obesity management/GLP-1s, mental health, equity, pharmaceutical drug and hospital prices, high-cost claims, fiduciary strategies, and potential health reforms. Interestingly, we found that employers who said they were more aggressive and innovative in their purchasing strategies noted that they experienced lower than average healthcare costs. https://lnkd.in/g8KizvPX #employers #pulseofthepurchaser #healthcarecosts #benefits
