Thank you to our Community Outreach Committee and everyone who came out to volunteer with us at HPD's Mounted Patrol Barn last week. It was fun to see these amazing animals and we enjoyed supporting our hometown heroes!
I got the horses in the back! We had the best time volunteering with Houston Building Owners and Managers Association (Houston BOMA) helping the Houston Mounted Patrol train! These horses are incredible! I’m not a good rioter but I do enjoy a good horse pun!

Houston BOMA is saddened by the tragic passing of member Travis Bailey on October 27, 2024.?Travis was a Chief Engineer with Transwestern at 1900 West Loop South. He was always up and ready to help others, no matter the circumstance. He was a loving grandson, son, husband, father, cousin, in-law, uncle, and?amazing friend. Our hearts are with the Bailey and Benitez family, and with our members who worked alongside him at Transwestern. Members who wish to support Travis's loved ones during this difficult time may contribute to the family's?GoFundMe using the link below.
We have lost a beloved Transwestern team member tragically this week, Travis Bailey Chief Engineer. He will be missed by all who knew and worked with him. I will personally miss our daily chats before we went home for the day. He was a great engineering team leader with many years of experience and knowledge, and our friend. His family has setup a fundraiser should anyone be interested.
