The mission of Housing Resources, Inc. (HRI) is the assurance of housing for socially or economically vulnerable residents of Kalamazoo County. Established in 1982 as a 501 c (3) non-profit organization, HRI has dedicated its efforts to finding housing solutions for individuals in the midst of a housing crisis, as well as on behalf of the community at large. Our services are designed to stabilize homeless households and help those in jeopardy of losing their housing, so they are more likely to avoid a repeat situation.

We're excited to share that we are moving to a new location that provides space to expand and enhance our services and programs! To help facilitate a smooth transition, HRI will be closed Friday, September 13th and Monday, September 16th. Our telephone and computer systems will not be operational during this time. We will reopen and provide services at both locations: 420 E. Alcott Street and 643 W. Crosstown Parkway beginning Tuesday, September 17th through Friday, September 27th.
