It was a team win for Housing Navigator @ Gillette for New England Affordable Housing Management Association's annual conference. Last week, our Partner Success Manager Abigail Werner, MBA and Product Manager Grace Mitchell shared insights from years of user testing and feedback, and received feedback from property managers and other attendees to guide our site improvements. A special shoutout to our partners John M. Thrilled to see Massachusetts Law Reform Institute using our data in its recent report on Fall River's affordable housing. It's time! After the successful launch of our core products, Housing Navigator MA is working with Koya Partners | Diversified Search Group to hire our next Executive Director. Three Cheers for Three Years!!! We're celebrating three years since going live today! Enormously grateful to our partners who make what we do possible and our users (400,000 this year) who put their trust in us. Honored to share this fresh information on a critical resource: our state's supply of affordable + accessible rentals. The gaps, most importantly in housing supply but also in tracking what is produced and where, should encourage us all to focus on how we support housing stability for people with disabilities. One of Housing Navigator MA's most long-standing goals has been collecting this previously unavailable information. Data-driven policy and advocacy start with good data! With appreciation for everyone who helped along the way, we look forward to seeing policy and production grounded in this work. Plus, we've collected three years of our Home is the Foundation campaign in one place-- sharing stories of how affordable housing shaped lives including Juana B. Matias, James Arthur Jemison, Shirronda Almeida and Sumbul Siddiqui, Esq. Many thanks to our Product Manager Grace Mitchell for the work of getting it done. And look out later this week for improvements to our 24/7 affordable housing search tool. We are drawing on user feedback, especially from people searching with vouchers, to make it easier for everyone to find their way home.
