Houses for Warriors is a tax-exempt 501?(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting our nation’s military veterans who are in need. We offer real estate solutions and resources to homeless and injured veterans to include: transitional housing and life skills programs, affordable housing options, and assisting our Warriors connect to the resources available to them. It is our honor to serve our Warriors that have sacrificed so much for our country. Our mission Houses for Warriors strives to improve the quality of life for disabled and homeless veterans in need through adaptive housing and housing resources. We do this through: The Warrior House transitional housing program The Houses for Warriors House Buying Program Recruiting our monthly Warrior Investors Houses for Warriors is tax exempt 501?(3) nonprofit organization that aims to help injured veterans obtain suitable housing by providing transitional housing services and affordable housing options for our Warrior Graduates, veterans, and military families. We buy, fix, and sell VA-approved houses to our veterans and military families that are using their VA home loans, and use our profits to expand our homeless transition programs nationwide. What is the Warrior House Program? The Warrior House Program is a residential program in Denver, CO that houses veterans of the U.S. Armed Services who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to struggles with alcohol, drugs, or other life-controlling problems. The program is designed to help Warriors achieve success based on their behaviors and attitudes, encouraging Warriors to understand that the choices they make directly affect the benefits and rewards they receive in life. We are a veteran-run holistic program designed to help our warriors realize that they can achieve spiritual and life-changing success if they are properly disciplined.

June is PTSD Awareness Month! At some point in Veterans lives, 7% of veterans will experience PTSD compared to 6% of the general population. For female veterans, this rate is even higher at 13%. Veterans of different service eras face varying risks: ? Operations Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Enduring Freedom (OEF): 15% in the past year, 29% at some point in life ? Persian Gulf War Veterans: 14% in the past year, 21% at some point in life ? Vietnam War Veterans: 5% in the past year, 10% at some point in life Deployment significantly increases the risk of PTSD, making it three times more likely. Veterans who use VA healthcare show higher rates of PTSD, with 23% experiencing it at some point in their lives. Among those using VA care, 10% of men and 19% of women were diagnosed with PTSD in 2021. At Houses For Warriors, we are dedicated to raising awareness about PTSD and providing support to homeless and at-risk veterans.
