Through a recent #NIL engagement, our men's basketball student-athletes hosted a group of local kids from Boys & Girls Club Metro LA for a clinic at Galen Center. In Their Own Words: Women's Volleyball standout Ally Batenhorst shares her perspective on her decision to transfer to USC from volleyball blue blood Nebraska. On and off the court, she's taking advantage of every opportunity and using her platform to help continue to grow the game she loves. "This year has been an incredible lesson in taking the chance, embracing change and doing what’s best for you. I’ve been able to grow so much as a person and a player since taking the plunge and moving out west. And I plan to continue doing just that. Pushing myself to be the best athlete that I can be. Taking advantage of my opportunities beyond volleyball. Using my platform to grow women’s sports and leave them better than I found them. Our men’s and women’s basketball student-athletes had an amazing day helping coach and support an Angel City Sports wheelchair basketball clinic making sure that ALL hoopers can hoop. From learning the tricks of the trade to giving some pointers themselves, our athletes are stepping up and making a huge impact on the court for ALL basketball players through this unique #NIL engagement.
