We are thrilled to welcome Luke Morrison, the newest member of the Hourglass Medical team, who has recently joined us as Principal Engineer! Luke has extensive experience in cross functional engineering environments bringing complex products to market. Through his work experience, undergraduate, and graduate education in mechanical engineering and robotics he grew a passion for being a "T-shaped" engineer: having a depth in mechanical engineering but implementing technologies and techniques from the breadth of engineering disciplines. He has previously worked and led teams in product test and reliability engineering in the hand tool and animal medical device industries.

Another key driver at Hourglass Medical is FRAIM, which stands for "Forward Ready Advanced Information Module" FRAIM is a calling card at Hourglass, as we’ve been entrusted to develop and deliver this lifesaving device for United States Special Operations Command. FRAIM is a patented head worn device that combines AR/heads up display, two-way bone conductive audio, cameras, and lights. A main focus at Hourglass is the development of RINOS Smart Safety Glasses. RINOS Smart Safety Glasses leverage mandated safety glasses to enhance functionality. Today, we wrap up our leadership spotlight with our Chief Financial Officer - Jeff Vaughan.? Jeff is a seasoned financial executive and certified public accountant with over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. He began his career in public accounting where he spent 10 years with a focus on auditing, followed by 20 years in the restaurant industry where he served as the Chief Financial Officer for Jimmy John’s. He helped grow Jimmy John’s to a national sandwich chain exceeding 2,700 locations and $2 billion in system-wide sales. Through these roles, he has extensive experience overseeing financial operations, ensuring financial stability and growth and contributing to overall strategic planning to maximize entity value. Continuing our leadership spotlights, we are excited to share a bit about our Chief Product Officer, Blake Good. Blake has in-depth engineering experience and drives Hourglass Medical’s commercialization efforts. He has two decades of experience managing and leading teams in fast-paced tech environments creating effective product strategies and managing products designed & built domestically and at OEM vendors in Europe and Asia. He has also been responsible for managing and growing a multi-million-dollar business category with P&L responsibility.?

Today, we are excited to spotlight our CEO & Founder, Jeremy Ross. Jeremy has over 20 years of experience inventing, designing, and developing advanced wearables for tactical applications that integrate advanced ergonomics and retention systems with tailored electronic capabilities to enhance the Warfighter's performance. His specialties include product design and commercialization, intellectual property development, organizational leadership, and simple solutions for complex problems. Welcome Noel Sons to the Hourglass Medical Team! We are thrilled to announce that Noel Sons has joined our team as President, Military Applications here at Hourglass Medical. With a distinguished 23-year career in the US Navy SEALs, Noel brings unparalleled expertise in Special Operations Medicine to our organization. Noel's impressive background includes twelve combat deployments and a wealth of specialized roles within the Navy SEALs. He is widely recognized for his groundbreaking work in establishing the Tactical Medical Training Cell, a milestone in enhancing Special Operations Medic training. As a published author, presenter, and holder of multiple medical credentials, including National Registry Paramedic and Critical Care Paramedic, Noel's innovative approach to healthcare is second to none. His contributions have led to the development of patented medical products that are making a significant impact in the field. At Hourglass Medical, Noel's leadership will be instrumental in driving forward our mission to deliver essential lifesaving solutions for warfighters.
