We launched our free scanner on Product Hunt and are happy to announce that we made the top 10 list (currently ranked #7). https://lnkd.in/gRPSDnxq We developed a highly specialized code scanner that can proactively detect PII leaks and map sensitive data flows across all third-party integrations and storage mediums where it is stored. Product Hunt is known for launching consumer-facing products, so we had relatively low expectations. The fact that we made it into the top 10 is a true testament to how the frequency of breaches and the growing concern around privacy are becoming high priorities for the general public. In a world where consumers use so many services, many of us, including myself, have been affected by data breaches involving the service providers we rely on daily. Beyond just receiving an email or letter offering a free subscription to monitor your identity online, we're left to deal with the consequences, including freezing credit accounts and constantly monitoring our information. We hope our product will enable companies to take a proactive approach to PII leak prevention, minimizing the blast radius of data breaches and making it harder for hackers to extract personal information.
