How enterprise brands can inject their big agency creative quality into their smaller stories - sales videos, explainers, interviews, docu-style pieces, branded content, short form, training vids, testimonials, etc. It requires a shift in perspective towards smaller budget projects: 1. Approach them like your big productions. You've hired specialized creative talent for your broadcast spots; there's no reason not to do the same here. You might not get THAT specific director, but you don’t need them. There is incredible talent not repped and eager to work with big brands. Avoid the old-school gatekeeping. 2. Scale content by preparing to film multiple pieces, thus creating various content types in one production cycle. The content is likely more straightforward, affording you more time for ideas. 3. Don’t be precious with it; use this as an opportunity to take risks and discover what resonates. For example, transform something that might typically be interviews and b-roll into something people, you know, actually want to watch. 4. Embrace informality to make your content more approachable and relatable. Just because it's serious and important doesn’t mean it has to be presented as serious and important all the time. 5. Iterate and refine by testing different approaches based on feedback. Analyze the feedback and data collected to refine the project to meet other goals and targets.
