At the USTRANSCOM Component Commanders Conference, US Army Lt. Gen. Paul T. Stanton, DISA director and JFHQ-DODIN commander, discussed the critical link between resilient communications and USTRANSCOM's ability to execute its mission as the U.S. military's transportation command. Stanton underscored the importance of proactively addressing evolving cyber threats and leveraging emerging technologies to maintain a robust and adaptable United States Department of Defense Information Network, or DODIN. By weaving our capabilities into strategic planning and large-scale exercises, USTRANSCOM is building a foundation for resilient command and control. This ensures the combatant command can seamlessly execute global logistics operations and project U.S. military power in the face of increasingly complex global challenges. #WeMakeIThappen

In anticipation of the Department of Defense (DoD) Cyber Workforce Summit (#CWS) on 20-21 March 2025, the DoD CIO would like to highlight one of our confirmed guest keynote speakers LTG (USA) Paul T. Stanton, Director of the Defense Information Systems Agency (#DISA), Commander, Joint Forces Headquarters-Department of Defense Information Network As the DISA director, LTG Stanton manages a global network of more than 20,000 service members, civilians and contractors who provide defense communications solutions to the President, Department of Defense, Secretary of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff and Combatant Commanders. DISA operates joint, interoperable command and control capabilities for the department, which support more than 200,000 warfighters in 150 countries. During the Summit, LTG Stanton will advocate for cyber defense preparedness by focusing on the future of the cyber workforce and embracing innovative solutions.
