HoSt Bio-Energy was happy to collaborate with LF Bioenergy on this project. The two digesters capture and process the methane gas from manure, which is then upgraded through a 3-stage membrane process provided by sister-company Bright Renewables North America and injected into the local gas pipeline. About 41 million gallons of manure are fed into the digesters annually and about 350 SCFM of RNG will be fed into the grid.
We're excited to announce our latest project with a family-owned farm in Northeastern Wisconsin! Collaborating closely with the owners, our expert team has implemented two anaerobic digesters and a biogas upgrader on-site—transforming dairy manure into RNG and valuable byproducts. This facility is set to produce enough clean energy to power over 1,000 homes annually! Julie Veldhius, Director of Business Development, shared, “These anaerobic digesters reduce greenhouse gas emissions and produce nutrient-rich fertilizer. The solution provided by LF Bioenergy, HoSt Group and Bright Renewables North America helps this farm achieve their environmental goals and provides a source of renewable energy.” Projects like these are enhancing sustainability, boosting efficiency and driving financial success for U.S. dairy farmers and stakeholders alike.
