HoSt Bio-Energy was happy to collaborate with LF Bioenergy on this project. The two digesters capture and process the methane gas from manure, which is then upgraded through a 3-stage membrane process provided by sister-company Bright Renewables North America and injected into the local gas pipeline. About 41 million gallons of manure are fed into the digesters annually and about 350 SCFM of RNG will be fed into the grid.

We're excited to announce our latest project with a family-owned farm in Northeastern Wisconsin! Collaborating closely with the owners, our expert team has implemented two anaerobic digesters and a biogas upgrader on-site—transforming dairy manure into RNG and valuable byproducts. This facility is set to produce enough clean energy to power over 1,000 homes annually! Julie Veldhius, Director of Business Development, shared, “These anaerobic digesters reduce greenhouse gas emissions and produce nutrient-rich fertilizer. The solution provided by LF Bioenergy, HoSt Group and Bright Renewables North America helps this farm achieve their environmental goals and provides a source of renewable energy.” Projects like these are enhancing sustainability, boosting efficiency and driving financial success for U.S. dairy farmers and stakeholders alike. The Southwest's commitment to sustainable energy is on display with the building of two three-digester systems by HoSt. ?? Both biogas facilities consist of a digester configuration of 2+1 (two main digesters and an after-digester), handling an impressive 70 and 92 million gallons of manure per year. The biogas output is impressive, producing 750 and 1,000 standard cubic feet per minute (scfm) of biogas ready for upgrading. The manure feedstock, coming from five farms, will be scrubbed of ammonia and other impurities through a nutrient management system. The dry product will not go into the digester, it will be used as cow bedding. The other product that goes into the digester is preheated with a heat recovery unit - which leaves the digester and circulates back to the feedstock making it an efficient and environmentally friendly process. The renewable natural gas that will be produced through a 1000 SCFM biogas upgrader is then injected into the grid. A special RNG compressor sits at the injection point to increase the speed of the gas to run at 300 PSI from 125 PSI. HoSt has supplied all key components, process design, and engineering to the general contractor taking care of everything from the feedstock pit to grid injection. The building of this project supports renewable energy and reinforces the importance of agricultural waste utilization. • Our first projects in New Mexico mark an important milestone: the introduction of after-digesters, a standard practice for our biogas projects across the globe. These after-digesters bring several advantages, further enhancing the efficiency and output of our anaerobic digestion process. After-digesters allow for additional biogas production by providing a secondary phase for further breakdown of organic material. This process maximizes biogas yield, improves overall energy recovery, and reduces the volume of residual digestate. Additionally, after-digesters help stabilize the system - reducing operational disruptions and maintenance needs. Resulting in greater reliability and consistent performance. These projects in New Mexico showcase our advanced technology in renewable natural gas production - delivering both environmental benefits and operational efficiencies. #anaerobicdigester #RNG #biogas #project

Excited to share some great feedback from clients this month on our digesters! One client highlighted that, across a portfolio of 12-16 systems, one of ours is the top performer. Another shared that our digesters are exceeding gas production expectations, potentially requiring a larger upgrader to handle the output—a welcome challenge! In a market where digesters can seem indistinguishable, differentiating based on performance is truly gratifying. Our systems are carefully engineered with advanced mixing, external heating, and in-tank H2S removal, ensuring efficiency and reliability. Plus, with our in-depth modeling tool, we accurately predict biogas output across various feedstocks. Proud to see the results of our innovation making a difference! • HoSt's first anaerobic digester in the U.S. is located in upstate New York, converting 47 million gallons of dairy manure into biomethane and other valuable gases annually. The digester, with a 120-foot diameter, produces an average of 230 scfm, feeding into a 300 scfm upgrader. The upgrader ensures the production of pipeline-quality compressed renewable natural gas (RNG). This bio-CNG is then transported by virtual pipeline and injected into the grid. #anaerobicdigester #biogas #RNG #greenenergy

  • ?? ?????? ?????????????????????????? ?????????????????? ?? Our recent Code 3 training served as a vital reminder of the importance of staying up to date on life-saving skills. Here are key takeaways to keep in mind, especially for anyone who has had CPR training in the past: 1?? Assess the situation – Make sure the scene is safe before approaching. 2?? Check for responsiveness – “Shake and shout” to see if the person reacts. 3?? Call 911 if unresponsive – Quick help is essential. 4?? Get the AED and first aid kit – These tools can make all the difference. 5?? Check for breathing – Look for chest rise. No breathing? Start CPR immediately. ?? Chest compressions are faster now – Perform 30 compressions to the beat of "Stayin' Alive." After 30, check the airway, give two rescue breaths, then repeat compressions. Consistency and speed save lives. Remember, chest compressions and AED use can mean the difference between life and death. Stay prepared and confident! #CPR #FirstAid #EmergencyPreparedness

  • ?????? ???????????????????? ???? ?? ??????-???????? ???????????????? ????????????: a two-tank digester system offers significant operational advantages, particularly when it comes to maintenance. With dual tanks, one tank can remain fully operational while the other undergoes a cleanout, ensuring continuous uptime and making the cleanout process quicker and more efficient. At our Ohio plant, two 120-foot digesters process 95 million gallons of cow manure annually, converting it into biogas, or biomethane. This is then upgraded in a 400 scfm capacity upgrader to produce bio-CNG, which is transported via virtual pipeline to the grid. The two-tank design not only maximizes operational efficiency but also supports consistent production of renewable energy. #anaerobicdigester #biogas #RNG #greenenergy
