Hospitality Internships is honored to welcome Angel F. González (California State University, Monterey Bay) as a valued member of our Academic Advisory Committee! Dr. González joins our Academic Advisory Committee as part of the newly launched STEP IN (Statewide Educators Partnering with Industry) initiative, formed through our partnership with the California Hotel & Lodging Association. Dr. González, Associate Professor of Sustainable Hospitality Management at the College of Business, California State University Monterey Bay. He was an Instructor of Hospitality Management at Oklahoma State University (OSU), Universidad del Este, and the University of Puerto Rico. He has a Ph.D. from OSU, a M.S., and a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts. He earned an Advanced Culinary Arts Certificate from the Culinary Institute of America, completed the Revenue Management Professional Development Program at Cornell University, and is a Certified Hospitality Educator by AHLA. His career in Hospitality includes working with Hyatt, Hilton, and the Walt Disney Company. Dr. González is joining a distinguished group of top educators from around the globe to help connect students in hospitality, tourism, culinary arts, and sports management with exceptional internships, manager-in-training programs, and entry-level management opportunities worldwide.

Hospitality Internships is delighted to welcome Dr. Cristian Morosan (University of Houston) as a valued member of our Academic Advisory Committee! Dr. Morosan joins our Academic Advisory Committee as part of the newly launched STEP IN (Statewide Educators Partnering with Industry) initiative, formed through our partnership with the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association. Dr. Cristian Morosan is the Donald H. Hubbs Professor and Director of Undergraduate Digital Education at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership at the University of Houston. His expertise is in information technology and innovation. He has accumulated over 20 years of teaching in higher education and over 30 years of involvement with the hospitality industry. ?Dr. Morosan’s research has been funded by regional organizations such as the European Union, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals, and several state and local governments in the U.S. His most recent funded research focuses on the role of artificial intelligence in higher education. He has an extensive portfolio of peer-reviewed and invited publications and is a regular presenter at prestigious industry and academic events. Dr. Morosan received several awards, such as the prestigious Teaching Excellence Award for Innovation in Instructional Technology, the Stephen Rushmore/HVS Research Excellence Award, the University of Houston Leadership in Teaching Excellence Award, and best paper awards. ? Dr. Morosan has been teaching courses in information technology, innovation, marketing, and management at all levels and in all formats. He has always been passionate about teaching, especially about teaching with and about information technology. Dr. Morosan is an avid innovator and is always looking for opportunities to introduce students to new technologies. Dr. Morosan is joining a distinguished group of top educators from around the globe to help connect students in hospitality, tourism, culinary arts, and sports management with exceptional internships, manager-in-training programs, and entry-level management opportunities worldwide.

Hospitality Internships?is honored to have Berkita S. Bradford, PhD (North Carolina Central University) as one of the founding members of our Academic Advisory Committee! With over twenty-five years of experience in higher education, Dr. Berkita S. Bradford is a passionate mentor, educator, leader, and lifelong learner. She is a student advocate and promotes holistic learning. As part of the holistic learning experience, Dr. Bradford has led transformative study abroad opportunities for her students, further enriching their educational journeys. Currently, Dr. Bradford serves as an Associate Professor and Department Chair for the Hospitality & Tourism Administration program, in the School of Business at North Carolina Central University, in Durham, N.C. She also serves on several boards, including the Council on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (ICHRIE), Hosteling International U.S.A, and the Triangle Area Hotel Motel Association (TAHM). Dr. Bradford is also a Commissioner for the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration (ACPHA)and a board member for The Alliance for Hospitality Equity & Diversity (AHED). Dr. Bradford’s research focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion, within the Global Hospitality Industry, and she holds a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace, from the University of South Florida. As a hospitality expert and industry champion, Dr. Bradford is frequently sought after for my insights and opinions and participates in roundtables, podcasts, and conference presentations. Dr. Bradford’s journey is driven by a deep commitment to fostering an inclusive, holistic, and enriching experience for future hospitality leaders resulting in long-term careers in the Global hospitality industry. She strives daily to display the SPIRIT of hospitality, which is also her signature phrase. Dr. Bradford holds two degrees from Grambling State University, one in Hotel Restaurant Management and an MPA with a concentration in Human Resource Management. She also has a Ph.D. in Hospitality Management from Kansas State University. In her spare time, Dr. Bradford enjoys traveling, reading, dining out, and bowling with her nieces and nephews, who affectionately call her Bee Bop. We look forward to working with Dr. Bradford as we help connect hospitality, tourism, culinary arts, and sports management students with high-quality internships, manager-in-training program opportunities, and entry-level management positions around the globe! #hospitalityinternships
