Marc is running Mile 12 of the Boston Marathon in honor of sweet Aubrey!??? Aubrey was born with DiGeorge syndrome, a condition that meant she, her mom, and her sister had to travel to Boston for seven medical appointments in just two days—a journey filled with long days at the hospital. But thanks to our incredible supporters, we were able to provide them with a comfortable stay at the Garden Inn, giving them a place to rest, recharge, and even enjoy a beautiful view after exhausting hospital visits.???? We are so grateful to have been part of Aubrey’s journey, and we couldn’t do it without the generosity of donors like you! Happy Feel Good Friday! This week, we are sharing the story of Geovanno, a guest we have had the pleasure of hosting twice. During his recent stay in Boston for a stem cell transplant, we were able to offer him a temporary home where he could focus on healing without the added stress of housing. Geovanno found the home to be peaceful and comfortable, making healing all the difference during these difficult times. During his Boston Marathon journey, Marc is dedicating Mile 11 to baby Denver — a true miracle and cherished member of our HH family. We hosted Denver's parents, Kenyatta and Derek, for 40 nights while they traveled from Louisiana to Boston for a groundbreaking in utero brain surgery at Boston Children's Hospital to save Denver's life — before she was even born. Today, Denver is over one year old, thriving, and passing all of her check-ups with flying colors. We've been lucky to welcome the Coleman family back to HH during their follow-up appointments, watching Denver grow stronger each visit. Marc is running for Denver and every family who finds comfort, community, and a place to stay through Hospitality Homes. After being born with complex cardiac needs, Chandler's family traveled from Virginia to Boston to meet with Dr. Emani and explore a groundbreaking Biventricular Repair surgery — a life-changing procedure offering new hope. The decision wasn't easy, but Chandler's parents chose the Bivent surgery just one day before his operation — a choice that would give Chandler the best chance at a brighter future. During their time in Boston, finding a place to stay so far from home was overwhelming — until they found Hospitality Homes. From their first stay during Chandler's surgery to their most recent visit for his 1-year check-up, Hospitality Homes has been by their side, offering warmth, care, and community every step of the way.
