AAMI is pleased to announce the next step in its collaboration with the College of Biomedical Equipment Technology and HOSA-Future Health Professionals. We are working on a national educational track that will teach high school students concrete HTM skills. I am proud to announce that I won 1st place in the collegiate division of the HOSA-Future Health Professionals competition at the Regional Leadership Conference in Mocksville, NC. My partner, Olivia Gray, and I, presented about the healthcare economics field. Healthcare economists often go unnoticed, but they play a vital role in public health. I am excited to compete again and potentially pursue an education in public health.
