A seasoned real estate leader, Jamie oversees a portfolio that includes more than 5,000 units of housing and 600,000 sf of retail across the greater Washington DC metropolitan region. ? Since he stepped into his leadership role at Horning two years ago, Jamie has helped propel our success to new heights in every aspect of business including operations, development, investments, asset management, and strategic planning. ? One of the things we’re most proud of is Jamie’s commitment to engaging with communities and team members to drive projects that have a transformative impact on how we live and work together. He’s immersed in the regional community, embraced our core values in every aspect of our work, and built upon an already glowing reputation of excellence and integrity. ? Along the way, Jamie has never hesitated to mentor others, routinely sharing his time, vision, and experience with aspiring young professionals. As the 2025 ULI Washington Groundbreaker, he continues to blaze a trail of achievement through collaboration, business acumen, and service. Congratulations, Jamie! As college tuition costs soar, young people living in poverty are increasingly unable to afford higher education. So the Abramson Scholarship Foundation steps in, determined to give motivated public high school graduates in DC the opportunity to attend college – and the tools to succeed once they get there. Each spring, the Foundation selects a new cohort of scholars based on financial need, academic achievement, and community service; all being recent high school graduates enrolled in four-year colleges. Scholars receive annual, renewable scholarships throughout their college years, along with a comprehensive mentoring program that includes professional development workshops, internship placement, networking events, and more. While only 40% of DC students finish college, Abramson Scholars boast a 85% graduation rate. We are thrilled to support Abramson Scholarship Foundation's efforts and mission.

Happy Black History Month! Black History Month is a month to celebrate the achievements and contributions of African Americans in the United States, and to recognize their central role in our country's history. Black History Month honors Black people from all time periods, from the enslaved people first brought to our country from Africa to Black Americans living in the United States today. ?

We recently gathered as a team for our semi-annual breakfast! ?? At our semi-annual breakfast, we honored our colleagues who put in the extra time and effort to earn certifications or completed coursework that will enable them to better serve our Horning communities and residents. We also took the opportunity to celebrate those who won industry awards at the Property Management Association (PMA) Awards last fall. Congratulations to all, and thank you for going above and beyond!
