On November 12–13, 2024, HorizonSMILE partners, gathered at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor to take critical steps towards refining and advancing the SMILE #OpenKnowledgePlatform. Together, we’re shaping a platform that supports #YouthMentalHealth with innovative, evidence-based digital tools. ?? ?????? ?? ???????????????????? included in-depth reviews of our first #Prototype and tackling integration challenges for smoother user onboarding. Technical discussions centred around optimising backend services, refining workflows, and enhancing interfaces, laying the groundwork for seamless onboarding, scheduling, and effective user journey management for SMILE pilot managers. ?? ?????? ?? ???????????????????? focused on #Security, #DataCollection, and #UserAccessManagement, advancing SMILE's alignment with #FHIR standards and #SAPL access control. This included discussions on our ???????????? ???????????????? ???????? ??????????, a core element that will enable #Interoperability and consistency in data management across our platform. The workshop wrapped up with actionable next steps for the next development stages. ? A big thank you to our partners— Univerza v Mariboru, RDIUP, NVISION, FTK e.V. Prototype 2: Integration and Development Workshop - Day 2 The second day of our workshop proved to be incredibly insightful as we tackled key technicalities that could potentially pose risks in the further development of our prototypes. ??We’re thrilled to announce that the HorizonSMILE project has been awarded a Poster Prize at the DGKJP Congress 2024! ?? This recognition celebrates the impactful results from the SMILE focus groups held in #Germany, where #children, #adolescents, and #youngadults shared their experiences and insights into SMILE mental health digital support tools. Dr. Johanna Heger, Senior Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at University Hospital Heidelberg (UKHD), presented our findings at the prestigious congress in #Rostock, #Germany. Dr. Heger highlighted SMILE’s unique approach to co-creating mental health solutions with #youngpeople, which resonated strongly with attendees.
