A huge thank you to Abbey Grisar and the rest of the Port Washington High School Girls Basketball Team! Abbey's mom, Sarah Grisar, was a patient at our Lawlis Hospice and passed away in May after an 8-year-long battle with cancer. Out of gratitude, Abbey independently organized a fundraiser at the team's Alumni Night game to benefit Horizon. The whole team completely surprised our Lawlis staff when they stopped in to present checks, the bracelets sold at the game, and express their gratitude. Their kindness and generosity have truly made a lasting impact—thank you for making a difference in honor of Sarah’s legacy. ??
