Helping Other People Excel For Tomorrow Inc.

As a native of P.G. County, one important lesson I learned from the P.G. school system was the significance of serving others. Initially, my goal was simply to fulfill the required service hours for graduation, but over time, it blossomed into a deep passion for helping those in need. In the last two weeks, it has been heartwarming to see that the spirit of service and compassion for others continues to be nurtured in students. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the students, parents, and educators at Flowers High School, who came together to gather supplies for those in need. Their collective efforts have resulted in the collection of over 700 pencils, 300 pens, 120 notebooks, and countless other essential items. I never knew that being mandated to sponsor lunches at a school would turn into a whole organization that's helped hundreds of people! Since the start of H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow Helping Other People Excel for Tomorrow Inc. : -Donors have sponsored more than 120,000 school lunches -A schools registration increased by 69% -Students who were going a school day without a meal are getting fed -Anemia and micronutrient deficiencies have been eradicated -Test scores have improved -There was a drastic drop of children being categorized as malnourished -98% of children gained weight within the first three months -Those with the highest amount of malnourishment (35%) dropped to less than 5%, many of whom were new students Have a look at our impact report and consider partnering with us to support this great cause!

April 27th & 28th were absolutely amazing! On the 27th, within 3 hours, we sold out at our bakery sale fundraiser for Helping Other People Excel For Tomorrow Inc. On the 28th, we distributed meals and toiletries to the unhoused and underserved in DC.
