A health clinic offering free primary care services to underserved, uninsured people in the Austin area.
关于我们
Anyone who is uninsured in the Austin area and unable to afford care can make an appointment. Services offered by our mainly volunteer staff include exams, basic blood work and chronic disease care, such as for high blood pressure or diabetes. Many medications are offered at no cost as well. Clinic leadership is dedicated to removing barriers to receiving compassionate healthcare and to serving those in transitional life situations, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or religious affiliation. The clinic runs entirely on donations from individuals, churches and other organizations. Grant-making foundations also support the work at Hope Clinic. There are three part-time employees who coordinate the work of the many volunteers who provide exceptional care for our patients. We are always looking for additional supporters who would like to join us as medical or administrative volunteers or as donors. Our website details the many ways individuals or organizations can get involved in caring for underserved neighbors.

This week is National Women's Blood Pressure Awareness Week. High blood pressure is commonly underdiagnosed in women and does not show any symptoms, but it can lead to greater health complications such as heart disease. Many factors can increase your risk of high blood pressure,?such as menopause,?pregnancy, and birth control. To take preventative care against high blood pressure, it is important to make heart-healthy lifestyle choices and get regular checkups.

According to the Austin Public Health, the rate of death by suicide has increased in Travis County, primarily following the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic. September is National Suicide Prevention Month, and we'd like to help promote resources for suicide prevention awareness. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call the 988 lifeline or connect with the resources available with Integral Care.
