Last year, more than 2,200 women and teen girls walked through the doors of Hope - the highest number in our 40-year history and a 29% increase from last year. Let’s bring Hope closer to home in 2025! Our goal is to offer support and critical resources directly to women and teen girls in neighborhoods across Arizona. Each story of hope, healing, and transformation was made possible because of your support and partnership. Client R faced the challenge of starting over with her kids after leaving a domestic violence situation. She was frustrated while looking for employment after submitting countless resumes with no responses. Through Hope on the Road, she met with a Hope staff member, who helped her correct errors on her resume and gave it an update. Soon after, she received a call for an interview, was hired on the spot, and just completed her orientation, a powerful step forward toward rebuilding her life. By expanding our Hope on the Road program and partnering with the 20+ sites on our wait list, we can reach more women, like Client R, and enter new communities with hope and critical resources. Hannah* came to us through our Hope on the Road program five months pregnant and with her 10-year-old son after being kicked out of her home by her ex-boyfriend. With nowhere to go, Hannah and her son slept in a moving truck and bounced from couch to couch, with no plan for their future. But even though she was at the lowest moment of her life, she never gave up. Then Hannah found Hope. Through partnering with a local shelter, we secured her temporary housing and eventually a stable home. Hannah’s resilience and the support she received changed the course of her future. She found a car, a job and worked hard to complete the Every Mother’s Advocate (ēMA) program before she even gave birth. Through the ēMA program, she received a wide range of services tailored to her unique needs, including parenting education, advocacy, earned incentives, case management and action plans, court advocacy and transportation as needed. Hannah was paired with an ēMA Advocate who worked alongside her, providing the holistic support necessary to navigate and overcome her challenges. Her success and strength in the face of adversity has been an inspiration to us all, and serves as a striking example of why our Hope on the Road program is so critical to reach women like Hannah. “I don’t know where I’d be without Hope. We received a beautiful update from Client V who came to us in a time of crisis. She fled a dangerous situation while pregnant, leaving everything behind including her legal documents. She arrived in Arizona, hoping to find safety and support near her sister, and she was due to give birth while still recovering from trauma. Despite the pain and the daily challenges, we were able to connect Client V with housing, prenatal care, food, clothing for her kids, and even a car seat for her baby. We also referred her to our (ēMA) Every Mother's Advocate program to make sure she had the ongoing support she needed. Recently, Client V’s sister stopped by with incredible news: her baby, who was only 2 lbs when they first arrived, is now a healthy, thriving 7 lbs 5 oz! We are so grateful to have walked alongside this mom through such a tough time and to see her and her baby starting this new chapter with strength and hope. Meet Treva, our Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Hope Women’s Center! With a passion for communication, she loves sharing our mission through social media, outreach, and collaboration with our Hope team. Treva is committed to using marketing and storytelling to raise awareness, inspire support, and showcase the transformative impact of hope and healing in the lives of the women we serve. What do you love about your job at Hope Women’s Center? TREVA: Having walked through seasons of being a widow and a single mother, I understand the challenges that many of the women we serve face. That’s why I love being part of Hope Women’s Center, knowing that my work in marketing and communications helps share their stories, raise awareness, and connect people to our mission. It’s a privilege to play a role in something bigger than myself, and I am continually in awe of how the Lord is moving in the lives of the women and teen girls who come through our doors. Share one of your strengths that allows you to do your job well? TREVA: My background in art and experience as a muralist give me a strong eye for design, which helps me create compelling social media posts as well as marketing materials. I love keeping things streamlined, ensuring our messaging is clear, and consistently putting out high-quality marketing that reflects the heart and voice of Hope Women's Center. When we receive letters from our clients, it’s a powerful reminder of the impact a safe and supportive community can have. Every client story reflects the power of hope, healing, and transformation and hearing their gratitude inspires us to reach more women and teen girls in crisis. “Dear Hope Women’s Center Team, There are moments in life when words fail to capture the depth of gratitude and transformation one feels.
