HFTC has partnered with Kris Nystrom, Ed.D. to bring Reading the World to Arise N Shine Nyahera School in Kisumu Kenya. Thank you Kris for helping us advance the reading skills of our Kindergartners, Grades 3 and 4. Today the kids received Whiteboards. "Literacy is a moral imperative. Every Child deserves pathways to personal achievement and intellectual freedom regardless of birthplace. In 30 years, half of the worlds working population will be living in Africa. We need their participation in solving the global challenges all of us face, not the least of which is climate change. These are not someone else's kids. They are ours.
