This month's Hope For Hallie Board Spotlight is Chris Wilson! ?? How have you seen Hope For Hallie grow? The main area of growth that I have seen this year is the hiring of Christine Jackson as Executive Director. To me, that was the single biggest step the organization could take to plant a flag stating its intention to make a real and permanent positive impact on the communities that we serve. I hope it is the beginning of many more such steps. I can't wait to see where she leads us in her second year in the role. ?? What does Hope For Hallie mean to you? For me, Hope For Hallie is an opportunity to reach out to the nameless, faceless teens that I may never get to meet to let them know that even though we don't know each other, that I care about you, that you are cared about. There is help out there and you don't have to try to struggle alone. ?? What is the most fulfilling part about Hope For Hallie? The most fulfilling part of working with Hope For Hallie is seeing how it brings people together. I love witnessing, and feeling, the connections that are made as a result of this organization and the people who come into contact with it. ?? What is something you are looking forward to with the organization? After bringing Christine Jackson onboard as a full-time employee and the organization's first Executive Director, I look forward to adding to the team of dedicated people that will lift this organization to the extraordinary heights I know it can achieve.

A HUGE thank you to Tiger Den, Pack 493 of Brookhaven, for their amazing contribution of hand-decorated butterfly houses, generously donated by Lowe's of Brookhaven! ?? This past Saturday, led by their Den Leader, Jim Levi, the group came to The Hallie Christine Jackson Butterfly Sanctuary and hung up their creations with love and care. We're incredibly grateful for their hard work and dedication to this beautiful project. Spring is almost here, and we're so excited for more visits to the Butterfly Sanctuary! ???
