Hop On A Cure is committed to supporting research to prevent, reverse and #CureALS
关于我们
Hop On A Cure was founded in 2022 by John Driskell Hopkins (Hop), and his wife Jen, who wished to help countless others, like themselves, who have been unwillingly thrown into this cruel and unfair fight. Its mission is to support research to prevent, reverse, and cure ALS while raising awareness, building a compassionate community, and unleashing the healing power of hope.

Thinking back to Harmony for Hope, surprising Dr. Bedlack with a giant check was a stand-out moment. That night, Hop On A Cure was proud to announce the AMP Award and surprise Dr. Bedlack with $50,000 to fund his research. Thank you to our sponsors and donors who made this grant possible. We look forward to continuing to fund innovative research to cure ALS! #kickALS #believeinacure??

Hop On A Cure is excited to partner with ALS Finding a Cure to fund 5 research proposals exploring the application of organoid technology for use in ALS translational research and development. Our goal with these grants is to establish methodic consistency between studies, allowing for comparison and collaboration, as well as reproducible methods that could be used for drug screening that could ultimately lead to new therapies and a cure for ALS.

Hop On A Cure is excited to spotlight Andrea Montobbio, who will be sharing his talents with us at Harmony for Hope. Andrea Montobbio is the owner and Executive Chef of Enzo Steakhouse & Bar. Chef Montobbio has been preparing to lead the kitchen at ENZO Steakhouse & Bar ever since his childhood growing up in the small town of Capriata d’Orba in Northern Italy, where his family raised their own vegetables and made their own wine. Montobbio then spent the next 20 years mastering the art of pasta-making in Italy before bringing his skills to the United States. He made his mark at Asellina at Gansevoort Park Hotel on Park Avenue in New York City and later at Atlanta’s Fifth Group Restaurants and STK Atlanta. His vision for ENZO goes beyond creating a dining experience; he aims to establish an institution that embodies the artistry and passion of independent chefs.
