    The Frustration of Disruptive Payment Experiences: Yesterday, I tried booking a ticket on United Airlines and opted for a third-party payment option that promised to autofill my card details for a faster checkout. Instead of simplifying the process, it opened a separate screen, failed to register me, and completely kicked me out of the checkout flow—after I had already painstakingly filled out my information. Frustrated by the disruption, I abandoned the process entirely and started browsing flights elsewhere. This is a perfect example of the critical flaw with semi-embedded payment solutions: they interrupt the purchase journey, often fail, and significantly contribute to the alarmingly high cart abandonment rates plaguing industries today.
