Check out this great inside look at the University of South Carolina's newest Campus Village addition, The Golden Spur. We enjoyed working with USC Dining and Garvin Design Group (Architecture, Interior Design, and Planning) this summer to bring the old favorite sports pub back to campus!
The Golden Spur in Campus Village at the University of South Carolina is a Gamecock-themed restaurant and bar that pays homage to a 1980s-era USC restaurant and bar of the same name – pairing a new experience with a sense of nostalgia for the Russell House venue. Check out the exposed spiral ductwork, which adds to the unique casual look while keeping the space conditioned and comfortable. Blackstone enjoyed being part of the construction team that brought this new dining concept to on-campus life in time for the 2024-2025 academic year. Hood Construction Company, Inc. New Year, New Upgrades. Hood is giving a new life to a Columbia local treasure, the Town Theatre. Built in 1924, we're renovating the Town Theatre as part of the third phase of their Centennial Campaign renovations. We're replacing seating, flooring, aisle lighting, and completing many finish upgrades. Stay on the lookout for opening day as we finish up renovations with Lambert Architecture + Construction Services, Inc.! 🎭 Did you Know? : The Town Theatre is the oldest community theatre building in continuous use in the United States and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
