Melissa helmed this incredible campaign for Coffee Mate, bringing warmth and humor to a truly meaningful cause. 'Unbreak My Break Room' is a three-part series that transforms a neglected teacher's lounge in a Los Angeles high school into a caffeine-fueled oasis. Teaming up with the brilliant minds at Wieden + Kennedy, Melissa deftly crafted this Extreme Makeover-style content. The series features the charismatic Vince Staples as host, adding his signature wit and community spirit to the project. This campaign goes beyond your typical commercial, addressing the real issues of underfunded schools and overworked teachers. Melissa's direction beautifully balances the serious subject matter with Coffee Mate's playful brand essence, showcasing their 'over-the-top fanaticism for all things coffee.' From the BBC to indie features, Julian West's journey has been anything but ordinary. Today, we're excited to announce he's bringing his extraordinary talent to Honor Society!?A former editor turned director/DP, Julian takes a holistic approach to the whole process of film, seeing this exciting time of radical change in the technology of filmmaking as a great opportunity for storytellers in all fields and at all budget levels. Julian's reel boasts collaborations with Pfizer, Papa John's, and Pepsi, plus a 5-episode campaign for National Geographic. But that's just the tip of the iceberg - he has directed award-winning shorts, an IFC feature film starring Sarita Choudhury and Rosario Dawson, and is constantly pushing creative boundaries, working also as a creative producer to help new filmmakers develop and execute their indie features. He was nominated for a 2022 Independent Spirit Award for co-producing with Rosario Dawson and Noah Lang the HBO MAX feature “This Is Not A War Story” for director Talia Lugacy. Based in NYC and LA, Julian's unique blend of cinematic vision and storytelling prowess is set to elevate our projects to new heights. Join us in welcoming this multifaceted director to our roster!

Cynthia Wade made a short film this year in Taiwan, produced by Honor Society. It's called GOOD ENOUGH ANCESTOR and it's about the fragility of democracy as expressed by visionary genius Audrey Tang.
