We want to take a moment to recognize the dedication and hard work individuals put in outside of their regular working hours, as it truly reflects their character. Our friend Terron Jones, an AKAM Property Manager at a prestigious Manhattan property, spends his spare time working with the basketball team at JFK High School in the Bronx. As a former collegiate basketball player himself, Terron often reflects on the struggles he faced just to get the proper equipment needed to compete on the court. Through his involvement, we learned that the team was in need of gear due to budgetary constraints at the school. That's when one of our friends, Joshua Neuman from Niche Waterproofing, stepped in. On his own initiative, he invited the entire team to a Footlocker in the City, where each player received new gear just in time for the holidays. This generous act is sure to help them start the new year off stronger than ever! Afterwards, we treated the entire group to pizza and engaged in a meaningful conversation about their aspirations. We see future architects, engineers, doctors, lawyers, and contractors in each of these young individuals, as the opportunities for success in New York City are endless. As professionals working to reach new heights in our own careers, it is our responsibility to continuously guide the youth in achieving their goals as well. HDA and all our friends are dedicated to giving back and inspiring the next generation to reach even greater heights! Let's grow stronger together in 2025!
