On Saturday, more than 100 HonorHealth Ambassadors, including CEO Todd LaPorte, came together for our sixth annual Give Back Day. Partnering with local nonprofits across the Valley, we were renovating yards and revitalizing playgrounds, cleaning up neighborhoods and tackling hunger. Created as a way to volunteer in the communities where we live and work, HonorHealth's Give Back Day empowers team members to roll up their sleeves and make a lasting impact in the lives of those we serve. ??

There’s nothing normal about a normal day in the Emergency Department. Jodi Waller, RN, who’s worked at HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center for 15 years describes it this way: “It’s hectic, unpredictable – and some may even say ‘organized chaos’ at times. Very critical and sick patients can arrive at any moment’s notice, and we must coordinate immediate life-saving care.” Thanks to a team nursing approach, they take care of their patients and each other. The Osborn ED team agreed that no day is ever the same. For some, that’s why they work here. With many long-standing team members, including one with 41 years of service and another with 35 years, they’ve built a culture that extends beyond their shifts. “The department has supported many other staff members in their personal lives such as marriages, divorces, beginning families, deaths and hardships,” says Waller. “I believe that once you invest in a department, it invests in you as well.” Join the HonorHealth team at honorhealthjobs.com
