As many of you already know, Ashville, NC was hit very hard by Hurricane Helene. Not only is our Blue Ridge Honor Flight hub in this area, Honor Flight cofounder Jeff Miller lives in Ashville. Work continues at the Lincoln Memorial as part of a major project to add 15,000 square feet of exhibit space and improve visitor services to the iconic building. For several months, contractors have been removing sections of the front stairs to repair the stone and waterproof the undercroft area. It's a delicate process.? ? Also, new temporary restrooms are now open along Daniel French Dr. to replace the closed basement restrooms.
