Business clients: A positive change to Positive Pay! We moved the cut-off time for customers to work their check and ACH Positive Pay exception items. It was previously 6 AM- 11 AM. If you use Online Bill Pay, there is an important change to know about that enhances the security of the checks that are issued.?There now will be a holding account that will pull the funds out of a customer’s account immediately and place them in the holding account until the check clears. The current process is just like a personal check being issued. Benefit to you:?this will replace your account information with the holding account in the MICR line. This will protect customer accounts from being compromised through Bill Pay checks. Contact your Branch Manager or our Help Center for more information on this security enhancement.
