Picture it, Sicily 1912.... Just joking, I have one better. Picture it, a quiet Tuesday morning in the office where you pull an old friend from grad school off your shelf ("Leadership: Theory and Practice" by Northouse, to be exact) to develop content for an upcoming course. Between sips of coffee, I'm working on content for a course intended for new leaders at Honkamp, P.C. and it will focus on expanding influence on the firm's culture and initiatives. Does it get any better? I'm feeling nostalgic and grateful for my time with the University of Dubuque's Communications department. It's amazing that all of these years later, I'm still pulling resources from the powerhouses in communication, leadership, and organizational management in a firm that values personal development and growth. Jenn Supple, Michelle Grace, Franklin Nii Yartey, Kimberly Schwartz, and Dr. Reid - thank you for embodying a love for lifelong learning that echos long after the commencement ceremonies. ??
