Our CFO Mathias Jamora spoke yesterday at Impact Finance Center about the revolutionary power of investment to act as a function of change. Here are some of the biggest takeaways. 1. The problem isn't a lack of capital. There is enough capital out there to solve every challenge we can image.?The problem is how do we get it to where it is needed most? 2. We cannot change the image of who receives capital if we also don't change the idea of who can be an investor. 3. Financial intermediaries should think more broadly about risk, balancing financial returns with deeper questions on the risk to communities if we choose not to invest. What do you think? Is investment a tool of expression and, dare we say it, change? We think so.
