Embracing Hilton's commitment to Travel with Purpose ?? Our Management Team visited Clean the World’s Headquarters in Orlando, including a tour of their one-of-a-kind Soap Museum, before sorting through incoming soap from hospitality partners and packaging them for distribution. In total, our FLAMINGO CROSSINGS Team packaged 21,800 bars of soap (over 100 boxes) in one afternoon to be distributed via The WASH Foundation! With over 8,300 partners and 1.4 million hotel rooms processed daily, Clean the World has diverted more than 27 million pounds of waste from landfills and has donated over 85 million bars of recycled soap to those in need! ?? Our week-long celebration of the incredible dedication of our housekeeping team for #InternationalHousekeepingWeek continues today, and it's been a joy to recognize and honor all of their hard work. Here's how we've been celebrating our amazing team ?? 1?? We started the week on a high note with a delightful breakfast buffet and goodie bags for all of our team members. 2?? Tuesday saw the entire FLAMINGO CROSSINGS? Town Center Complex come together for a pizza party and exciting bingo session! 3?? On Wednesday, our housekeeping team put their skills to the test to see who could put pillowcases on their pillows the fastest; and fueled up afterwards with a meal provided by Publix and our very own F&B team. 4?? We added a musical twist to our celebrations on Thursday in the form of musical chairs and karaoke—allowing our Housekeeping Team to showcase their hidden talents, let loose, and enjoy a fun-filled day of laughter and camaraderie. 5?? The fun continues today with our Pasta Party. Our team is gearing up for an afternoon with great food, spirited games, and plenty of laughs. As we look ahead to the weekend, our festivities will continue with a sweet touch. ???????? 6?? Tomorrow, we’ll indulge in a Dessert Bar, offering an array of treats to satisfy every sweet tooth. 7?? And on Sunday, we'll wrap up our celebration with an Ice Cream Party, where our team can enjoy their favorite flavors and a well-deserved treat. To commemorate this achievement, we celebrated in true Orlando fashion—with a trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom? Theme Park! ???? As a Walt Disney World? Gateway Hotel, it was so nice to explore Animal Kingdom—a theme park that so many of our guests visit as part of their Orlando vacations. Overall, it was a day filled with excitement, team bonding, and some well-deserved fun for our managers whose hard work and dedication truly paid off.
