Creating Home. Building Hope. Together.

关于我们

Community Housing Partnership is now HomeRise. While the name is new, the work we do remains the same: we help people experiencing homelessness rise up and transform their lives by providing a home combined with support services, like mental health services and job training, and advocating for policies that alleviate and prevent homelessness. Together with our supporters, we are changing lives and rebuilding the neighborhoods and city that we love. Each year, HomeRise’s supportive housing transforms the lives of more than 1,900 adults, children, seniors, and veterans who experienced homelessness. The impact is long-lasting: 98% of our past and present residents who experienced homelessness stay housed.

  • We are still energized coming off HomeRise’s Grand Re-Opening celebration at the San Cristina site in San Francisco last week! The San Cristina underwent an extensive rehab focused on upgrading its structural and seismic stability, enhancing energy efficiency, and making the space better suited for HomeRise residents with modernized upgrades to the living and community spaces. We are proud to have partnered with such amazing organizations to bring this historic 1913 building back to life! The completion of this project further demonstrates HomeRise’s continued commitment to house formerly homeless individuals here in San Francisco and provide critical support to help each individual rise up. Special thanks to our lead sponsors for the event - DH CONSTRUCTION & CONSULTANCY LTD Merchants Capital @universecwp

HomeRise is deeply saddened about the passing of Reverend Arnold Townsend, a pilar in the San Francisco community known for his unwavering dedication to social justice and community service. Our thoughts and condolences are with the Townsend family and those that are mourning his passing. He was a mentor to numerous local leaders and worked closely with various organizations to advocate for the rights and welfare of marginalized communities. HomeRise is privileged to have known and partnered with Reverend Townsend on bringing supportive housing to the Filmore and expanding it our work in San Francisco. In 2018, HomeRise was honored to dedicate our newly renovated site located at 1750 McAllister Street as the Rachel Townsend Apartments in honor of Reverend Townsends late daughter, Rachel Townsend. HomeRise, and many others, were fortunate to share a relationship with the Townsend’s, who through their voice, were instrumental in addressing critical issues. Reverend Townsend leaves behind a legacy of compassion and activism that will be remembered by all who knew him. #legacy #RevTownsend #RachelTownsend #RachelTownsendApartments #SanFranciscoLegend #TheFillmore

  • ?? Happy Leap Day! ?? Today, as we embrace this rare extra day that only comes around every four years, let’s harness its energy to advocate for an essential cause: permanent supportive housing. Here are several impactful ways you can contribute: 1. Volunteer and Donate: Offer your time and resources to organizations dedicated to providing permanent supportive housing. Whether it’s volunteering at a shelter, organizing donation drives, or contributing financially, your support can make a tangible difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. 2. Raise Awareness: Spread the word about the importance of permanent supportive housing within your community and beyond. Use your voice on social media, host informational events, or engage in conversations with friends and family to raise awareness and promote understanding of this crucial issue. 3. Support Legislation: Advocate for policies and funding initiatives that prioritize the establishment and maintenance of permanent supportive housing programs. Write to your elected officials, participate in advocacy campaigns, and support organizations lobbying for legislative changes aimed at addressing homelessness and expanding access to supportive housing options. 4. Educate Yourself and Others: Take the time to educate yourself about the root causes of homelessness, the challenges faced by individuals experiencing homelessness, and the effectiveness of permanent supportive housing as a solution. Share your knowledge with others to dispel misconceptions and inspire collective action towards creating positive change. By taking action on Leap Day and beyond, we can all play a part in advocating for permanent supportive housing and working towards a future where everyone has access to safe, stable housing and the support they need to thrive. Leap into action today and make every leap count towards building a more compassionate and inclusive society! ???? #LeapIntoAction. https://lnkd.in/gHgiQ99i
