We are excited to share Version 1.5 of Home Outside? 3D Landscape & Garden Designer. It’s live in the App Store and Google Play! We’ve made the AR user interface easier and more fun to use, with a tutorial to highlight the main features. The AR view uses touch screen gestures to rotate and resize AR garden elements and rotates freely between portrait and landscape mode. For some plants and gardens, we’ve included Order Online buttons to purchase plants and irrigation kits. And of course, we are thrilled about our growing library of plant collections, and individual trees, shrubs, and perennials. Try it out for free or subscribe to unlock the entire plant library and save your designs.

Home Outside is the visualization platform for the landscape industry. We create 3D+AR technology to help homeowners, landscape professionals, and sellers of plants and landscape products. Our 3D+AR models of plants and garden collections can be projected into a yard from a smartphone, so homeowners can "try before they buy," finding the right location and visualizing the end result. Retailers, wholesalers, and service providers who use 3D+AR models on their product pages to provide more immersive experiences for their customers see increased conversion rates of up to 94% (based on industry research). Our team of landscape design experts curate collections of trees, shrubs, and perennials that look beautiful and grow well together, for most eco-regions of the U.S. (with more coming soon). In April 2024 our new AI Landscape Designer app for homeowners and professionals is launching for iPads and Android tablets.

Last week I had the great honor of accepting the Woman Owned Business of Year Award from SBA Vermont and VermontBiz Magazine at the beautiful The Essex Resort & Spa in Manchester, VT. When I started Home Outside, I needed to learn how to be an entrepreneur. Darcy Carter and her staff admitted me into the SBA Emerging Leaders program taught by Allan Rodgers. I also started pitching to investors through FreshTracks Capital’s Road Pitch and Peak Pitch. Then I became part of the Burlington Chamber’s LaunchVT program, through which I met our lawyer, Eli Moulton and many other hugely valuable resources. Next week we’re releasing Home Outside? AI: 3D Garden & Landscape Designer in the iOS and Google Play stores—a major breakthrough in landscape design. And it all started with the support of SBA Vermont! . . .
