We recently implemented digital price tags from Pricer throughout our showroom. These new tags have improved: Customer experience - Customers are guaranteed to see the best price and most up-to-date product information, like availability. This allows customers to have fewer interactions with our sales team if so desired. Efficiency - Staff can now update product information from a computer instead of manually changing tags across our 215,000-square-foot showroom. Sustainability - The digital tags are powered by a long-lasting battery (a market-leading 5 years!) and will significantly reduce paper and power usage. We are excited to be taking these steps to improve both the shopping experience and store performance. Come check them out!

Yesterday we partnered with Nebraska Furniture Mart to help the City of Urbandale?and the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce with the 2024 Urbandale Uplift Project. We had an amazing time helping landscape Living History Farms with our sister store! The Urbandale Uplift Project is an opportunity for local businesses to engage and give back to the community by donating their time to help non-profit organizations, parks, and service providers in Urbandale. Homemakers is proud to be a sponsor of this amazing event which allows our employees the opportunity to get involved in the community and connect with other Urbandale businesses. At Homemakers, we are dedicated to giving back to the community and helping others in need.??

Today, we donated cardboard to YSS’s Reggie’s Sleepout. Reggie’s Sleepout raises awareness for homelessness by having volunteers spend a night sleeping outside at Drake Stadium in boxes, tents, or sleeping bags. This is to show people what it is like to not have a home for one night and experience the tragedy of homelessness. Homemakers is committed to giving back to the community and are honored to support YSS and all the work they accomplish! While we recycle most of our cardboard, it was nice to be able to use it to make an impact on an important organization. Our team had the opportunity to dress casual today to show their support for breast cancer awareness when they donated to Bras for the Cause: Nonprofit 501(c)(3) Foundation. We are honored to have been able to support this Iowa-based organization for all that they do to raise awareness in the community.?
