The wait is over – our annual Lottery Calendar is back and now available for purchase! This year, the calendar honors Veterans who we at Homeland have had the privilege of knowing – either because we have cared for them or because they have graced us with their passion, experience and dedication as members of our caring team. The Lottery Calendar is a Homeland tradition and a gift that keeps on giving. Everyone who purchases a calendar is eligible to be entered into daily drawings for cash prizes up to $100. The 2025 Lottery Calendar honoring Veterans is $25, and proceeds go towards providing financial support and additional services to residents, patients and clients in need. We’re tipping our hats to Homeland Hospice’s 15th Anniversary! This week is Homeland’s History, Heart & Honor event, a fun celebration that will mark 15 years of providing exceptional end-of-life care to those we serve and pay tribute to over 157 years of caring for our community. The special occasion includes a pre-show reception featuring our Stories of the Heart gallery including stories of the Veterans we’ve served and stories of our hospice team members who put the “heart” in hospice care. Guests can purchase snacks from Patriot’s Pub & Grub and visit the cash bar for their favorite drinks. Live performances include singing historian Roy Justice and headliner singer-songwriter Keni Thomas. Dress code is casual, and in honor of the event’s theme, guests are encouraged to wear their favorite hat and best denim.
