The 2024 SHIBA report confirms that we are in a State of Emergency with Black homeownership. The past two years have been tough, but even before 2021, Black homeownership was either falling or stagnant and remains far from its pre-2004 high of nearly 50%.

This past Saturday, I had the privilege of representing HomeFree-USA at the T.D. Jakes Foundation first "You're Hired" Mixer. It was an enriching experience to return to Atlanta since graduation and engage with the local community. During the event, I had the opportunity to emphasize the importance of homeownership as a critical next step after securing employment. It's always rewarding to help others understand how homeownership can play a key role in long-term financial stability and success.

I’m thrilled to share that from October 22nd-24th, I had the privilege of attending HomeFree USA’s Money4Life Annual Conference as an Ambassador!
