The Home Builders Association Of The Upper Peninsula was chartered in 1978 as the Home Builders Association of the Superiorland. It is a professional trade organization comprised of builder and associate members dedicated to promoting the building industry. This organization will encourage professionalism within the industry, educate the members and general public and positively impact government on building related issues. The association will encourage the pursuit of human and intellectual values, community service and creative activities that strengthen the communities throughout the Upper Peninsula. The Home Builders Association Of The Upper Peninsula is the largest “local association” by land mass in the United States.
