Have you heard the latest news?! According to new data from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Charlotte is now the most expensive city in North Carolina to rent in! In the Charlotte area, the fair market rent for an efficiency apartment was listed at a state-high of $1,586. A four-bedroom rental has a fair market rent of $2,852. These numbers are absolutely crazy and not something to be proud of in our opinion! We are proud that none of our cottages (including our 3 bedroom) cost the amount of the “fair market rent” of $1,586. Not to mention our rent covers your utilities, standard maintenance, lawn care, and each resident receives individualized supportive services that promote self-sufficiency! Wow where do we start?!? Last night was simply amazing. Getting to be with some of the most amazing people in our community and spreading love! First, a special thank you to The Groome’s Place for hosting our birthday celebration! We can’t say enough wonderful things about them. From a gorgeous venue to opening their arms and welcoming us like family we are forever grateful. Ms. Jacky you and your team are angels!!
